I am so thrilled to be able to announce the launch of my new website.
It’s been 4 weeks since I finished my academic post. I’ve gone from marking and dealing with plagiarism cases to teaching myself how to build a website, create an online newsletter, establish a podcast, market myself as freelance. Essentially, in those 4 weeks, I’ve set up my business.
There is still a LONG way to go. But in this short time – that builds on a longer period of 2 years of re-training and exploration – I’ve focused my energies and felt motivated in ways I haven’t felt in years.
I’m proud of myself.
I’m hoping I can help some of us at mid-career, or mid-life points who are feeling a bit stuck, lost – dare I even say it, bored? Or worse, at the edge of burnout.
But it took a village to get me here. And I’ve found mine online. I’ll be sharing my favourite free – and paid – resources that have been the basis of my steep and ongoing learning curve from burnt out academic and frazzled mum, to online content creator.
If this sounds like something you would like to hear more about – check out the new website and sign up for the The Learning Curve Collective Newsletter. The subscribe button is on the Welcome page.
All in time for my 40th Birthday… to the decade of no old dogs, just plenty of new tricks.
In the meantime, here is a link to the trailer of my podcast too. Cannot wait for you to listen to the experiences and expertise of the guests that have kindly agreed to take part over the summer.
With love, solidarity, hope.
